Projection is the third key measurement alongside volume and width. It is what makes the difference between a flat, natural enhancement and a fuller, more rounded look.
How projection is set
For a fixed base width, manufacturers offer profiles from moderate (less projection) to extra high (most projection). Choosing a higher profile pushes the same volume further forward.
Matching projection to you
- Narrow chest, want fullness → higher profile fits the frame.
- Broad chest, want natural → moderate profile spreads volume.
- Thin tissue → very high projection can increase edge visibility and rippling.
