Dual Plane III uses the greatest degree of muscle release along the lower border, allowing the maximum amount of breast tissue to redrape over the lower implant.

Who it suits

Dual Plane III is typically reserved for looser, more glandular or mildly sagging breasts, or constricted lower poles (such as some tuberous breasts), where the lower tissue needs to expand fully over the implant.

Balancing benefits and risks

Greater release improves lower-pole expansion but, if overdone, can increase the chance of the muscle window allowing the implant to be felt. The surgeon judges the right grade for your anatomy. See which plane is best.
