Our editorial policy sets out how content is produced so readers know what to expect. Every guide is written to be accurate, balanced and accessible, and to clearly separate established evidence from areas of genuine uncertainty.

Sourcing

We prioritise primary and authoritative sources: UK regulators and professional bodies (MHRA, GMC, CQC, BAAPS, BAPRAS, the Association of Breast Surgery), national registries, and peer-reviewed journals such as Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and JPRAS. Where evidence is limited or evolving, we say so.

Writing standards

Content is written in plain English, avoids sensational language, and presents risks honestly. We do not make guarantees about outcomes, we avoid promoting any single brand or surgeon, and we do not use scare tactics or marketing claims.

Accuracy and corrections

If you believe something is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us. We review flagged content promptly and correct errors transparently.

Funding and impartiality

We do not accept payment to feature, rank or recommend specific clinics, surgeons or implant brands. Any future advertising or affiliate relationships would be clearly disclosed and would never influence clinical content.
